Our PM Modi sir said people did not want slogans or drama raised in the house, they need action!
By Infinity Byte: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, ahead the 18th Lok Sabha’s inaugural session, addressing the responsible Opposition, “India needs responsible Opposition. People want substance, not slogans; they want debate and diligence, not disturbance in Parliament,” he said.
He mean that his government is going to strive hard to achieve all the promises made not only by words also by work. He does not like to unnecessarily debate and create disturbance in the Parliament.
He also welcomed the newly elected Parliamentarians . As an MP from Varanasi he stressed out the importance of the current session, highlighting its potential to develop India towards the vision of “Viksit Bharat”(Developed India) .

In this 18th Lok Sabha the NDA holds a majority of seats of 293, out of which BJP has 240 seats, the opposition India block is 234 seats with the congress holding 99 of them.
Prime Minister Mr. Modi responded by signalling what he understood by the mandate of the 2024 Lok Sabha election. “People have put their stamp of approval on the intentions and policies of this government,” he said.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also mentioned reflecting on the significance of the recent elections as “India witnessed the world’s largest elections, completed with great fanfare, marking a moment of pride. After independence this is the for the second time people found necessity for continuously electing 3 times the same government. This is very Prestigious event, as people has put all the hopes on us and we need to keep them on. I am very thankful for all the people who has kept hopes on us and electing us again, We as a government will strive hard to develop the country “.
PM Modi also added that he was so happy by seeing the significant presence of younger parliamentarians, who are very important in shaping the future of nation by highlighting their roles.
On this 18th lob Sabha session PM Modi also mentioned that “The number “18” has got so much significance as if it is Bhagawathgeetha’s 18th chapter which shows the message of Karma, duty and compassion. The count of Purana and Upa-purana is also 18 which coincide with the current Lok Sabha session number. “
PM Modi about Emergency
Prime Minister also quoted about the 50th anniversary of the Emergency, which falls on 25th June, describing it as a ‘black spot’ on India’s democracy when the Constitution was disregarded.
Late on June 25, 1975, Gandhi made the announcement of imposition of Emergency in a broadcast on All India Radio, shortly after the Supreme Court granted a conditional stay to a Allahabad High Court verdict declaring her election to the Lok Sabha as null and void.
“Today is June 25. For those dedicated to the dignity of the Indian Constitution and democratic traditions, it is a day that can never be forgotten. It marks the completion of 50 years since the black spot on Indian democracy when the Constitution was rejected, destroyed, and the country was turned into a prison through the declaration of Emergency,” PM Modi said.
He also mentioned as “I would like to assure the people that our government will work 3 times harder in this third term and deliver three times more “.
