Redmi 13 5G launched great today in India at Rs12999!

By Infinity Byte: As a part of 10th anniversary celebration, Xiomi introduced a host of new series which includes its popular model of Redmi lineup. Redmi 13 has been launched today at a price starting from 12,999 which will be on live sale from 12th July noon.

Redmi 13 Price range in India

This newly launched mobile series has launched in two variants.

Base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage with 5G support. The price range of this is 12,999(including 1000rs bank offer). without applying the bank offer this will cost around 13,999.
Second variant is with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage with 5G support. The price of this is 14,999(including bank offer). Without applying the bank offer this will cost around 15,999.
Xiaomi is offering a bank discount of Rs1,000 or an additional exchange offer of Rs1,000.

Redmi 13 display, design and Screen Protection

As we know Redmi 13 5G succeeds the Redmi 12 5G. This Redmi13 phone has a display of 6.79 inch full HD + LCD screen.

This time the brand bumped the adaptive refresh rate from 90Hz to 120Hz ensuring smooth visuals and 450 nits peak brightness.

Adaptive refresh rate: This is the feature helps in eye protection mode which intelligently adjusts the color temperature of the screen and can reduce the chances of eye strain.

This comes with a refreshing center punch hole design which gives a elegant look. It also comes with a crystal glass which a dual sided. This series is the first in this segment to introduce dual sided crystal glass.

This also has a great screen protection as it comes with corning Gorilla glass. The glass is a thin sheet of alkali-aluminosilicate that makes the glass tougher and scratch resistant. With the improved damage resistance, the glass can survive pressures, deep cuts and scratches. According to Corning, the Glass 3 is three times better than its previous versions.

The Redmi 13 5G also comes with dual 5G SIM support, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a USB Type-C port.

The Redmi 12 5G mobile has two 50Mega Pixel Rear cameras , Now the updated version i.e., Redmi13 5G has 108 Mega Pixel Main Camera and 2 Mega Pixel Macro camera at the back.

There is 13 Mega Pixel front camera for capturing selfies and make video calls.

Redmi 13 5G Performance

This time the brand also made a tiny upgrade on the battery department as well from 5,000 mAh cell to 5,030 mAh.

It also supports fastest charging at 33W.

Under the hood of the phone runs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 with Adreno 613 GPU. This is the same chipset that powers its predecessor, the Redmi 12 5G.

It also supports Widevine L1 so the content will stream with great video quality.

Redmi 13 Competitors

As of now the number of phones with 5G support are growing in India with affordable range. So , this version of Redmi has a quite a few rivals to face. It would be competing against the IQOO Z9x 5G and the Realme Narzo N65 5G.
