The makers of the Science Fiction action film “Kalki” unveiled the Title and the first glimpse at San Deigo Comic Con (SDCC).

The team finally titled Project K film as Kalki 2898 – AD. The first glimpse shows Prabhas, Amitabh Bachan and Deepika Padukone in a futuristic world.
Project K is now titled as “Kalki 2898-AD (2024)“. San Deigo Comic Con (SDCC) is a place where the film captivated audiences with its visionary concept and spellbinding visuals.
In this event Prabhas reveled that “I have lot of gadgets like i can shoot from my arms, shoes, Boosters and lot more.”
This Film is directed by Nag Ashwin. This film will be the first ever Indian film to debut at SDCC.

Release Date
The movie will be released in theaters on JANUARY 12 – 2024, as per the update. Kalki movie has taken the internet to a storm after the release of its teaser at SDCC.
Audience all over the world are eagerly waiting to see the stars on Screen. This film will create many wonders with its screenplay.
This film is planned to release in Telugu, Hindi, English, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada languages.

The 1-minute 16-second teaser showcased a world set in the future and a few glimpses of Deepika, Prabhas, and Amitabh Bachchan. Soon after the makers unveiled the first glimpse, fans flooded the comment section with praises.
Kalki 2898-AD (2024) Pre-Production
Ashwin stated that this film needed high end technology vehicles which are futuristic. These can be created by CGI (Computer Generated Imagery). Ashwin wanted everything to be “Authentic and Genuine”, so he though out to build these vehicles from the scratch.
He requested Anand Mahindra to provide the technical help in building the vehicles. Few days later Mahindra responded that ” Mahindra & Mahindra would assist the Production team”.
Budget
This movie is estimated to be mounted at a budget of ₹600 crore (US$75 million), making it the most expensive Indian Films ever made.
Kalki 2898-AD (2024) Shoot Details
About 90% of the shoot is done in Ramoji Film City only. Prabhas’s Knee surgery led to delay in shoot.
Amitabh Bachan shot a scene at Raidurg metro station.
Deepika and Prabhas shot a car chase sequence in Hyderabad. Most of the shoot was completed within the Schedule only.
